English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

500 ml bottle (Soft DK). Dark beer with a tan head and some lacing. Sweet aroma with lots of (light) chocolate and smoke and a hint of vanilla. Medium to full body, creamy with nice medium carbonation and a long and a very dry bitter finish. Lots of chocolate in the flavor too, with a mix of vanilla, roast, toffee and coffee. Sweet but not overwhelmingly so, good complexity, very nice but not great.

Tap. Pours opaque deep brown to black with a small tan head and good lacing. Aroma is chocolate liquor, vanilla, espresso. Flavor is milk chocolate, a bit of anise, medium sweet, lightly coffee bitter. Medium body, but not as creamy as I expected. Not a huge fan of anise in my stouts.

.5l bottle @ Vihreä Haltiatar Pours pitch black with medium to high light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, syrup, finnish mämmi, some vanilla tobacco and coffee. Flavor is mostly same. A bit bitter though.

Psytron (2238) - Turku, FINLAND - JAN 18, 2013
Smell of caramel, toffee, chocolate. Black colour, mid-brown creamy head. A myriad of aromas: chocolate, vanilla, pepper, licorice, soot. Sweet and medium bitter.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Black pour with a small tan head which quickly disappears. Nose is very sweet and full of milk chocolate. Loads of vanilla like the name suggests. Tastes just like white chocolate. Sweetness is a bit sharp to begin with but mellows out once your palate gets used to it. Good stuff

Pure black with a foamy light brown head. Some roast malt, coffee, chocolate aroma. Taste is nice vanilla coffee smoky malt. Really sweet but a really solid beer.

BoringBard (139) - NORWAY - JAN 16, 2013
Very little smell. Dark, but still translucent. No head. Intense taste of burnt barley and smoke. In other words AWESOME taste! Thin and smokey in the mouth. All over: shockingly intense taste to be so odorless and thin. A very good beer, but not as good as I’m excpecting from mr. evil twin

Black pour with a thick creamy brown head that leaves good lasting lacing. Aroma of burnt malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Taste of oak, chocolate, raisins and vanilla. Sweet indeed.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2013 On tap @Lúpulo Feroz. Aroma is kind of sweet and fruity, vanilla and some bubble-gum!!. Pours very dark, opaque, with nice creamy tan head, persistent, good lacing. Medium body, soft carbonation, very oily texture. Taste begins sweet, with dark chocolate notes developing, also some coffee ones, bitterness noticed after few sips. Aftertate is bitter cacao. Enjoyable, but a bit palate saturating. Update Oct 8th, 2013: Sweet, full textured, smooth balanced.

Black pour with medium sized tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malts, coffee and cocoa. Taste of sweetened chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and a hint of coffee and black licorice. Very faint hop bitterness on the finish. Full bodied and a creamy mouthfeel, this is one delicious beer!!
