English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Well, forget the name, it looks like an imperial stout. Very dark, lovely brown / tan coloured head, but nothing left after about a minute. Body is smooth and thick. Those roasted malts are there in layers like an old ale. I get the banana and the vanilla, and also rum and coke. Really good, only bettered if a bit more power in the middle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond shop. Opaque black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, smoke, vanilla, cocoa, prunes and red wine. Pretty sweet, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, brown sugar, boozy, a bit acidic with bitter finish. Full-bodied, slightly strong carbonation. Heavy but nice.

Pours a deep dark brown to black with a thin tan head. Medium body with soft carbonation and lots of lacing. Strong aroma of sweet dark chocolate and roasted malts. Smooth with a full mouth feel. Cocoa and roasted malt flavors. Smooth finish and lingering aftertaste. Enjoyable. Good but not great.

SebBrews (183) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - OCT 26, 2016
Deep black color, no head, leaves a sparky tan lace on the glass. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Alcohol is also present. Taste is coffee liquor, licorice, dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and maple syrup. Very well balanced between sweet and bitter. Moderate carbonation, oily body. Excellent.

330mL bottle from Beer Exchange. Pours a black body, holds a small tan ring. Dark aroma - dark malts, dark toast, dark coffee, dark sugar, dark fruit undertones. Body is relatively rich, slick, smooth, verging on syrupy with a subdued carbonation. Flavours of dark chocolate, dark roast, touch of coffee, burnt toast & brown sugar. Slight warmth on finish, moderate bitterness. Lovely beer - was kinda of hoping for a bit MORE from something this size though.

Bottle (5 years old!): Literally black, small and stable creamy tanned head; solid nose of vanilla, bitter chocolate, roasted malt and dried berries, accompanied by a certain acidity; solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied, creamy MF; lingering fruity-roasty and chocolatey finish. Great pleasure...
