English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout youll like this one. If you dont, get yourself something else instead.

This beer is on tap at WF Wexford. Deep oily cola body with red tan head. Licorice and pine fragrance with sweet prunes, dates and licorice notes. Nice lacing though a slightly high carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Soft DK. Black with no head. Aroma is lots of dark malt, dark roast coffee, bamana. Taste is semi sweet chocolate chips, lots of can sugar sweetness. Has a dark roast that reminds me of expedition with some sweetness that reminds me of dark lord.

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a fingers worth of off white to tan foamy sustaining head. Thin lacing glosses around the glass nicely. The aroma starts roasty with a nice sweet dark fruitiness (raisins to plums) sliding in for a nice balance. Clean coffee bean bitterness flows underneath. The flavor allows a nice sweet to roasty flow of sweet dark fruit to sly roastiness, mostly balanced at a good behavior to accommodate a fantastic sweet to roasty sort of sticky yet "dressed" sort of wet aftertaste leading on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable to sipping quality to it. Carbonation is super low, whoah, yeah, damn low, I want to say this is close to cloying because carbonation has died off so much. Overall, well, though carbonation has died off, yes, I believe this to be a fairly old bottle, still, the aroma and flavor seems to be on par or at least coming close to above (a bit), I liked it for the most part but perhaps to people drinking this with some age (yes, I think this might get a tad cloying, be aware).

bottle - Black pour, tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with roast malt, chocolate, and vanilla. Its full bodied and while its on the sweet side all the way to the finish, its not too cloying. Very good.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of shoe polish, liquorice and Nutella. Flavour of chocolate, espresso and salted caramel. Thin body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Thinner and sharper than I was expecting, but its very drinkable for the strength.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/8/2016 (bottle labeled Soft DK). Pours close to black with a small dark tan head. Has a relatively light aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of soy. The flavour is primarily sweet chocolate, some vanilla, a little warming spice and a moderate roasty bitterness. Has a relatively creamy texture and moderate carbonation. More than decent, but Evil Twin make some much better beers.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt dark fruit, and vanilla. Opaque black / brown color, brown head that stays awhile, hanging strands of lace. Taste is creamy chocolaty roasted malt that glides through light carbonation, adding light vanilla, then to bittering that brings the chocolate malt back into balance. Some alcohol is noticeable at the very end. Big, too heavy for me too enjoy, but, still balanced and well done.

0,33l bottle as Soft DK shared with wiosna @ Punavuoren Ahven. Pours very dark brown with a low tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with dark fruits and perhaps some vanilla. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, ash, dark fruits, vanilla, alcohol and hops. Too thin body. Good nevertheless.
