Poured a medium brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of milk chocolate and vanilla. Medium smooth body, flavour is much as the aroma, but even more pronounced. The strength is dangerously well hidden. brnandersen (4109) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2012
As Soft DK. 50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Dark brown colour with a creamy, tan head. Sweet aroma with coffee, vanilla, chocolate and roasted malts. Some red berries, coffee beans. Light hints of alcohol. Taste is light sweet. Full body with a creamy texture, soft carbonation. Long lasting bitter finish with lots of vanilla, coffee beans and chocolate. Some liqoirice. Indeed a very good beer but the alcohol shows a bit too much to be a really excellent beer. novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2012
What in tarnation! This beer is epically delicious. The name is terrible though, but they’ve obviously come around to that, changing the name to the abbreviated "DK". Super smooth, notes of vanilla, chocolate, and super well masked alcohol all enjoy center stage in this lovely stout. pintbypint (3827) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 28, 2012
Draft at Underground. Black pour, opaque, thin light brown head on top with some sticky edges. Nose is coffee, sweet chocolate. Taste is rich and sweet chocolate syrup, coffee, light hop. Full bodied with medium carbonation. A bit rich, some alcohol notes. A bit too rich and sweet for me.

On tap at Tap and Mallet. Pours black with a fairly large mocha head that slowly fades leaving some lace. Aroma is sweet chocolate, vanilla, coffee, molasses, and a small amount of hops. Taste is slightly bitter with hints of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Very creamy and good. Really enjoyed this one.

Draft - Dark chocolate, sweet liquor and vanilla notes almost like smelling a box of chocolates. Deep black with a thin brown head. Dark bitter chocolate with a candy sweetness. Nothing too special for me. yiannnos (1254) - , CYPRUS - DEC 19, 2012
Dark colour. Roasted malt, vanilla, mocha aroma. Creamy. Taste is similar to aroma.
