English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout youll like this one. If you dont, get yourself something else instead.

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 12-4-16. Labeled as Evil Twin Soft DK. Has something on the order of a year of age on it. Pours dark brown with a surprisingly dark, rose-brown head. Dark amber hue. Short-lasting head, but it looks very good while its there. One of the darker heads Ive seen, even in this style. Fruity aroma: Raisin, plum. Refreshing, slightly metallic smell. Roasted malt aroma. Nice, chocolatey taste, but its a pretty dark chocolate. Char flakes. Booze-soaked raisins. Not nearly as sweet as I was expecting. Not particularly sweet at all, in fact, and I think thats to the beers benefit. Alcohol heat noticeable to a surprising degree given how much age is on this. Burnt malt finish and aftertaste. A bit of the metal from the aroma also is present in the finish, which isnt ideal. For the most part, a nice, typical, imperial stout flavor. Full body. A bit oily in the palette. Surprisingly easy to drink. Unremarkable palate effects. A pretty good imperial stout is a very good beer, and this is a pretty good imperial stout. It didnt blow me away, but I definitely enjoyed it. A remarkably poorly named beer under its original name; the name both disgusts and misleads, as it smells and tastes nothing like suggested.

Pours black, small grey head. Smell is roasty, taste is full, roasty, vanilla, mild sweetness. Very nice! easy drinkable, especially for the abv. Bit low on the mouthfeel .

Nice beige head quickly dissappearing. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark fruits, cocoa, roasted malts. Semi dry with alcoholic finish. Some chocolate, coffee, licorice. Carbonation is far too high. Body is medium. Sharp, alcoholic bitter is really annoying. Expected more from this beer. Average Imperial Stout with much better aroma than taste.

2016.01.26 - 4th Place - #CraftBeerFantasyLeague 2016 - Stouts Rating #2319 - 2016.01.26 - Bottle from CBI. Have had this before as well, obviously some inebriated gaps in the beer journal. Pours jet black with a luxurious velvety tan head with excellent retention. Aroma is heavy on cocoa, dark roast coffee, toffee, burnt sugar notes. Coffee flavours throughout, accented by chocolate notes and a creamier texture. Phenomenal.

W aromacie dużo wanilii, ktra z czasem uleciała oraz potrjna mleczna czekolada. W smaku najpierw wchodzi mega słodycz, ktra następnie ustępuje wafelkom czekoladowym, goryczce oraz niestety alkoholowi. Niestety brak balansu i spjnego przejścia ze słodyczy w wytrawność

Well, forget the name, it looks like an imperial stout. Very dark, lovely brown / tan coloured head, but nothing left after about a minute. Body is smooth and thick. Those roasted malts are there in layers like an old ale. I get the banana and the vanilla, and also rum and coke. Really good, only bettered if a bit more power in the middle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond shop. Opaque black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, smoke, vanilla, cocoa, prunes and red wine. Pretty sweet, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, brown sugar, boozy, a bit acidic with bitter finish. Full-bodied, slightly strong carbonation. Heavy but nice.

Sweet and bitterish flavor with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, rum liqueur, vanilla, molasses, hint of cherry, a bit alcoholic. Full-bodied. Very good.

Pours a deep dark brown to black with a thin tan head. Medium body with soft carbonation and lots of lacing. Strong aroma of sweet dark chocolate and roasted malts. Smooth with a full mouth feel. Cocoa and roasted malt flavors. Smooth finish and lingering aftertaste. Enjoyable. Good but not great.

Deep black color, no head, leaves a sparky tan lace on the glass. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Alcohol is also present. Taste is coffee liquor, licorice, dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and maple syrup. Very well balanced between sweet and bitter. Moderate carbonation, oily body. Excellent.
