COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, then Södermalm followed by Williamsburg and Shoreditch accompanied by Trastevere & El Raval. This Hipster ale was aged for 4 months on white wine barrels and then dryhopped with Citra, Summit, & Cascade – perfect as a tribute to our favorite up-and-coming Hipster neighborhood, Sønderho, DK. Cheers to picture-perfect white sandy beaches, the Wadden Sea, and thatched-roof homes. Beware first movers!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; Pours hazy amber frothy cloud head, funky aroma, taste is really sour, funky and dry. Quite unexpected for an American Pale Ale.

Bottle thanks to pepsiedcan, whoa, the aroma on this thing is insane, has a ton of funk mixed in with some sour fruit and wood, the flavor has a nice earthy front end with a little bit of funk in the finish, dry mouthfeel, the wood really comes through in the finish, man this stuff is interesting. Pale ale eh, seems like a mix between a saison and a sour.

kermis (14553) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle sampled at Beer Temple. Pours hazy orange with no head. Aroma is funky, brett, wood, fruits, slightly vinous, a little malt and hops. The sourness is nicely balanced by hops and malt, and ends up with a flavour that is light moderate sweet, sour and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma is very Brett heavy. Some nice bitterness and freshness. Quite complex however the aroma hops are overpowered by the sourness. Some woody notes with a good aftertaste. Not bad for a Brett. Quite subtle which is ok with me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a orangish cloudy color with a thin white head. Aroma is awesome, smells quite funky and fruity, brett, must, wood, really complex aroma. Taste is unique, has a bit of sourness too it, some bitter orange and grapefruit notes, some vinegar and a dry oaky, slightly wine tasting finish, good brew. 9.99

Bottle from de bierkoning. Not yet accustomed to sour ales, and this aswell is also not my fav. Offwhite head with alot of lacing. Orange liquid with aroma of fruits and pine. Taste is for me... sour. Need more training to give a correct assessment, I think.

330 ml bottle. Rated on 14.10.2012.
Pours a murky orange golden colour with a white head. Aroma is rather interesting with loads of white wine, herbs and kiwi. Flavour of strong bitter hops, white wine, wood, tart berries and malts. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and a smooth malty finish with some sourness. White wine smoothens the finish nicely. Great stuff and rather complex.
