Dark amber-brown color, almost opaque. Tiny off-white head. Nose is very light - berries, some caramel, light tobacco. Medium-bodied. Caramel, licorice, toasted smoked ham flavor. Can’t find much Saison here. On paper better beer than in reality.
Bottle - Slight soy, dar malts and some grass. Jet brown with a thin beige head. Smoke, peat, hop bitterness, and dark malt. I think this works. jtclockwork (18178) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 25, 2013

355ml bottle (Angleterre, Helinki)
Slightly pooey aroma, a bit dodgy. Nice black, small beige head. Nicer taste there’s some pleasant bacon in the roast. Still a bit messy. Finish is quite thin and short. Some nice roast aspects, but still a bit messy generally.
