COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of the beauties of beer and brewing is that the best beer in the world and the worst beer in the world are made from (pretty much) the same ingredients. It’s all about having passion and focus on details -- this easy drinkable all brett fermented beer is brewed with my favorite hop variety, Simcoe. So simple, yet so complex. Enjoy!

Tap (Riga Craft Beer Festival 2016)
Touch crotchy aroma, a touch sour. Also a touch cabbagey. Watery palate. Taste is a touch crotchy too. Messy. Watery. Weak sauce, and just feels a bit off. I don’t mind a sweaty horse in my brett beers, but this is way past that.

Rask0lnikov (1313) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 20, 2016
On tap at RCBW 2016. Pale yellow colour. Medium white head. Sour, citrussy, earthy, rather artificially fruity aroma. Citrussy, bit flowery at the beginning. Slightly bitter, earthy in the middle. Very tart and grassy finish. Sweetness and some yeast, grass and spiciness in the aftertaste. Quite drinkable brew.

Vells (1857) - Rīga, LATVIA - AUG 27, 2016
Seems like citrusy naphthalene, some floral aspect, light yeasty. Light sweetness with light bitterness. Well balanced, but quite boring

Yeasty floral aroma with some underlying funk. Flavor is a Roch tart and funky, ever so slightly hoppy with a nice dry finish.

ajnepple (6701) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 2, 2015
22 oz bottle on sale at Supermarket Liquors, shared and poured into a pint glass. Aroma of light passion fruit, spruce, earth, citrus hops, lemon zest and light Brett. Similar flavor, adding a mild hop bitterness, a light peppery spice and a light musty finish. A little dated perhaps, but pretty good overall.
