Bottle thanks to lukasmh. Pours dark, almost Black, brown with a Nice, fluffy, tan head. Aroma has dark berries, burned sugar, slight roast, coffee, raisins and a slight booze. Taste has more of a molasses-sweetness, and lots of prunes, raisins, coffee, gun powder, a bitter, dry, and slight acidic finish. Lots of flavor! Thick body and low carbonation.

On tap @ Crooked Stave Reserve Society meeting. Pours a cloudy orangish brown appearance with a thin brown. The aroma shows some oxidation along with bread, light citrus, caramel, and toffee. Moderately high sweetness and booze. Moderate bitterness. Medium full body. A touch nutty with some caramel, light chocolate, and burnt sugar. Ok. Imaena (2295) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - NOV 1, 2014
Bottle. This is a sweet syrup of beer with lots of burnt caramel, toasted coconut, and dulce de leche. Good but not awesome. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 1, 2014
On tap at the Barrel Cellar. Pour is murky brown with a small tan head. Big coconut, caramel, toffee, raisins, bourbon, wood and brown sugar notes in the aroma. Taste is big caramel, coconut, some cocoa, dates, plums, somewhat earthy, and wood With a touch of heat on the finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Not bad but a bit oxidized. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Pours a rich amber to mahogany color with a finger of eggshell foam. Lots of rich layers of creme brulee, raisin, salt water taffy, roasted peanuts. A viscous body that coats your mouth with some underlying booze, hints of bitterness never quite make it out of the round sweetness but teases the back of the palate. Solid.

Dark mahogany with scant, beige head, no lacing (BA) / Rich, deep, sweet nose of sherry, dark fruit, chocolate, caramel / Full body, smooth, modestly chewy, sweet but with excellent balance, just a hint of bitterness, light heat / Flavors of date, fig, chocolate, caramel, light sherry barrel / Nicely restrained, not a monster, with good complexity. Drucken på Norrlands Nation. Russin och plommon i doften tillsammans med en sötaktig ton. Tunn kropp, smaken påminner starkt om doften.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of brown sugar, malt extract, and dark fruit. Flavors are rich and same with an additional Christmas cake spiciness. I’ll take the front room over the back. NeuroPliny (250) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 17, 2014
Poured from a 330cc bottle. Colour is hazy dark brown. Head is tan and minimal. Aroma is dried fruit, raisin, brown sugar, and molasses. Flavour is caramel, sweet malt, dark dried fruit, sherry, and hints of fig and chocolate. Despite that description it is not too sweet. Awesome! DialSquare (5231) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 23, 2014
