Desverger (11424) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2016
[email protected], Copenhagen (2012) v1 from the cellar - dark brown pour with nice beige head. Medium toasty sweet malty aroma and taste, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, treacle, some great dried fruity and nutty notes, red wine infused wooden nuances, some intriguing spices on the palate, medium sweet bitter finish, has a mature old special character to this. Beautiful.

On tap @ Crooked Stave Reserve Society meeting. Pours a cloudy orangish brown appearance with a thin brown. The aroma shows some oxidation along with bread, light citrus, caramel, and toffee. Moderately high sweetness and booze. Moderate bitterness. Medium full body. A touch nutty with some caramel, light chocolate, and burnt sugar. Ok.
