Bottle 33 cl @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese - Caserta, Italy). A pale intense orange color introduce this beer, followed by a vigorous white and frothy foam that last surprisingly long. Even after minutes, it remains at the same level! Anyway. Aroma is fresh, fruity (kiwi, mango, pineapple, citrus, lime) and full of grass and pine in a combo that urges you to drink without any objection. So, let’s drink and prepare to enjoy tremendously. This beer has a balance rarely experienced before, among carbonation, bitterness and body. Any of that trait is completely right and doesn’t invade others; flavor is yeasty, dominated by citrus and surrounded by grassy and resinous notes with a little boozy sensation. Finish is harsh at the mouth sides, but on tongue as well; it lasts so much, with pink grapefruit, rhubarb and young leaves. Just a negative note, malt is really weak but that doesn’t give any watery character. Good one by Evil Twin for the fantastic and nice Roman friends. Lines on label in roman dialect, quoting a Trilussa - popular Roman poet - poem named "All’ombra" deserve a 0.1 point in addition!!! :) madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2012

Bottle.Very high creamy and long lasting off-white head. Clou. dy light amber body. Pretty hoppy and grassy aroma with a solid malt bread straw base. Fruit in the background, dry and distinct malt flavor in the front plus a heavy shot of hops bitterness. Agressive but not too much of a good thing (or I just like the used hops). High carbonation, long bitter aftertaste. Impressive taste for a beer with 5.5.% alcohol.
