3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours semi-cloudy yellow gold with white head. Good lacing. Nose and taste of lemon bread, yeast, banana, clove, coriander and light spice. Slightly dry finish. Medium body. Well balanced and lots of flavor.
Bottle. Pours hazy gold. Aroma is bready malts, light toast, lemon zest, and some faint floral and citrus notes. Flavor is crisp and citrusy with nice yeast esters and some light grassy hop character atop a dry malt base. Medium body. fiulijn (21506) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 11, 2016
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, April 2012weihenweizen (4203) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Cloudy blond color, with creamy head. The aroma is a bit wheaty, dusty, fruity, with some candies fruitiness, confused (between 6 and 7); but later, there is a very light cheesy touch. It has a bold body strength and smooth mouthfeel, with high carbonation and micro bubbles; strong wheat, spicy flavor, low fruitiness if not absent; quite strong bitterness. This is a low octane, but bold Tripel, more than a Wit.
Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy light orange with one finger white head. Aroma is zesty, medium body, medium carbonation, and some medium bubble lacing. Taste is zesty, herbal hops, some pine hops, and slightly bitter finish. Belgian wit meets American wheat or dare I say it white IPA, really overpriced. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch leicht hefig, leicht fruchtig, Gewürze. Geschmack hefig würzig, leicht fruchtig. jbruner (5448) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle shared thanks to marshal_zhukov! Pours a cloudy golden yellow with lacy white head that leaves goods lace. Aroma is citrus hops up front with wheat in the middle and a fruity ending with a hint of earth. Taste follows, hop heavy with some nice spicy esters. Definitely one of the best, if not the best witbier I?ve ever had, but a little on the pricey side.

Bottle. Pours slighty hazy yellow with medium to low head. Smell is wheat, slight hop presense. Taste is citrus, orange hops, wheat. Medium carbonation, not bad but too pricey.
Vollmundig. 10/10/9/10/8/9 glennmastrange (2939) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2013
Bottle. Moderate malt and hop notes of cereal, perfume and citrus peel, light to moderate dough for the yeast with hints of white grape, ripe pear, white wine, coriander and candy sugar. Head is small, frothy white with good lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky medium amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, the slow and long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a soft carbonation and lightly astringent and dry finish. Super complex and fruity, this Witbier is probably one of the best I’ve had. Bottle. Hazy amber pour, with an off white head. Wheat, spice, lemon, coriander, sweetness, and some piney hops. Decent wit, a little different than the standard. Reynolds314 (3472) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Nothing wrong with this wit. Spicy and crisp with nice yeast character. Clean and drinkable. Not worth buying a wit from Evil Twin however. Priced out of the market.
