On tap. Pours a cloudy amber with a tiny off-white head. Very sweet fruity nose, quite plummey. Medium-bodied, rather low in carbonation, flavour of sweet plums and a little yeast and....that’s about it. Draught at Fairbar, Århussaxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2012
Hazy red-amber color, small creamy head. Aroma or smell of overripe fruits, dusty, a bit moldy and sourish; light peach and vinegar. There is a mild, delicate blend of flavors: some medium caramel and grape juice, pleasant; the bitterness is not too high, at least it doesn’t interfere with the fruits; it’s quite sweet, the backbone reminds the American attempts at Belgian Ales (and in this case, luckily there is no Belgian yeast character, to clash with the grapes; instead it’s a quite soft beer); the final tends to be more bitter and less fruity.
Despite the sub-par aroma, it’s a pleasant beer.
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is hazy amber. Aroma and taste are peach, grapes, apricot and malt. More like a fruit beer. Oily palate.
