Pours a honey yellow hazy with a one finger head with heavy lacing. Toasted, cereal malt with strong forward bitter herbal and spruce hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Chewy. Long bitter finish. Definitely a beer for the hop head, not really balanced. It is good, though.
Sent to me by Strykzone in a trade. Pours a pure gold with a white head with excellent lacing. Nose is citrus hops. Medium plus body. Flavor is a good balance of hops and malts but the hops come to dominate the finish with excellent flavors and good bitterness. Very good beer. kaser (6430) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Orange and clear pour from 12oz can at river roast. White head. Ripe fruit. Tropical. Full flavor. A quality beer. Bitter. Cybercat (6342) - Georgia, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy amber with a very thick but effervescent ivory head. Barely noticeable aroma is malty - even the damn gnats that have been plaguing me for days don’t seem to be impressed. Flavor, fortunately, is considerably stronger - actually tastes like beer, malty with fruity and hops hints. Texture is typical. Definitely not Evil Twin’s best, but still a couple notches above meh. Classic golden with an off-white head. Mild malty nose. A bit of an of putting hop character followed by a perfumy malt flavor. jjgmd (2295) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Pours an amber cooper orange color with a small head. Nose is hoppy and earthy. Taste is hoppy and bitter with some earthy tones. Finish is bitter with a medium to long finish. Nothing impressive from a great brewer. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a beige head and aroma of sweet hops and malt. Taste is heavy bitter up front, with hops, grapefruit, citrus, pine, malt, and caramel leading to a dry, strong bitter finish BLADT (701) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 12, 2014
From bottle. Not sure why this was downsized to the 11.2oz. Hazy orange with soapy almost white head. Pine and grapefruit nose, with a pretzel dough maltiness behind. Taste is a combination of rough flavors. Resin and simple malt. Orange zest. Nothing really blends. Dry finish. The nose is a winner, the taste could use some work. Unclear what the brewer was trying for. DiarmaidBHK (6151) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Draft at liquor express. Pours dark orange with a thin khaki head. Has a bit of pine on the nose. Fairly solid hop notes on the tongue which resemble wood. Finishes clean. Solid but not amazing. magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2013
