You know story, a dull-looking guy - he is dry, maybe a tad overweight and let’s face it, not very charming. But somehow he hooks up with a piquant, profound, and very attractive girl. She finds him oh so down to earth, loyal and cute, and even though it’s such an odd paradox, they make a very interesting and charismatic couple.

Bottled at ekstedt dec-11 Hazy dark amber. No head. Sour vinegar, earthy. Some solvent. Way too sour and unbalanced; acetone.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 3, 2012
(500ml bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, and burnt toast. Flavor of caramel, light burnt bread, plum, cherry, berries, brett, and lacto.

thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 6, 2012
(500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) medium brown, soapy offwhite bubbles. Nose of chocolate, sour, wet wood, not complex and very odd. Taste of vinegar, acetic acid, cranberry syrup, kind of gross, chocolate, sawdust. Not my favorite despite my love for sours.

Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 1, 2012
from Erzbierschof - cloudy dark ruby-brown beer with a chaotic foam left; aroma of sour cherries and vinegar; medium-bodied; tart and crisp, poorly tasty; sourish with some sweetness; short and quite dry aftertaste of herbs and sour cherries - not terrible

yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle. It pours an unclear, dark amber body under a minimial sized off-white head. Vinegar, roasted malts, dried fruits and a funky, bretty touch on the nose. The flavor has a lightly sourish note, almost vinegarish, kept company by dried fruits and some leathery, lemony and barnyard-ish flavors. It’s dry, tart and pleasantly carbonated, with a lightly citric finish. A beer lacking a bit on complexity, but it’s quite nice anyway. 111229

zacgillbanks (5656) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2012
Bottle from BrewDog website. Very dark brown with ruby red highlights. This beer has a rich sour red fruity flavour, more sweet fruit on the body followed by a sour, warming, slight woody finish.

jackl (8556) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Bottle @ CPK. Deep brown with a tiny white head that quickly recedes. The nose is cherry jam and fermenting fruits, cola, and berries, some brown sugar. THe taste is balsamic vinegar and fruits. Very jammy and funky. Charcol and brown sigar. Medium body, fizzy. Overall, pretty nice.

dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Bottle from Total Wine Henderson. Pours a clear mahogany color with a thin, whispy eggshell head. Aroma of raisin, grape. Taste is sour, but nasty. Yuck
