50 cl bottle with a pour that appears muddy brownish - coca cola coloured. The nose is pretty sweet like from cane sugar and the brown sugar you spray out on your naturel yougurt. At the same time it has this fine layed back sourness that play up nicely to the sweetness and gives me associations to vlamish sours. The taste is more sour than the aroma promised - and thats good. It tickles your ears and smoothen your throat. The palate is medium with a creamy texture. Lots of things going on in the taste - and as the lead singer from the band it bare its name from - its kinda androgyne. Muddy bluesy looking but quite feminin and fine in the taste. Its refreshing and advanced at the same time. Lovely. thornecb (5916) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - APR 3, 2012
Pours ruby-tinged mahogany into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sour cherry aromas. Sweet caramel upfront turning to tart cranberry and cherry before the lasting pit fruit finish. Not sure why the ratings are so low on this one...I really like the "paradox" as they say in their description... zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JUN 3, 2012
(bottle - 500 ml) Red pour with a fluffy head. Big sour and funky aroma. Lots of fruits mixed in as well. Lots of sour notes at the start of the flavor. The sour is quite potent as well with very mild fruit notes that make it taste even more sour. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Dark red-amber, minimal off-white head / Mild nose of wood, light sourness, dark fruit, chocolate, funk / Light to medium body, creamy and mellow, moderately sweet and only lightly sour, excellent balance and dry, woody finish / Smooth flavors of milk chocolate, oak, dark cherry, date, smoke, and light horse blanket / Clearly a dissenter in this category, and probably more my taste being not overly sour, this is an elegant, well balance, and even complex sour. Bottle split with Erica. Pour is a muddy brown-red, light brown hue and translucent around the edges. Aroma is heavy vinegar/acid and red wine. Palate is moderate to heavy tart, moderate to heavy sour, and moderate acidity. Some fruit flavor, mostly grape. Tiny bit of red wine astringency, but overall not a dry beer at all. Very light mouthfeel. Great. AlberRueda (58) - - OCT 16, 2012
Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2011

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a dense tan head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, caramel, malt, and vinegar. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of brettanoyces, vinegar, malt, caramel, and some dried fruits, leading to a dry and tart finish.
