Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, orange - citrus, mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, overriped fruit, overriped orange , sticky, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110513]

From tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fa. Pours hazy dark orange with a lasting thick and almost white head. Aroma is crisp grapefruity and citrusy hops. Mild mango and pineapple. Thick caramelish and solid pinewood to grapefruity hops flavoured. Sweet and yet with a bitter bite coming through. Slight herbal hops note into the finish. Thick bitter and caramelish into a dry and bitter finish.

On tap at Craft Beer. Opaque black, tiny tan head. Palate is semi crisp. Nice dark malt with a sprinkling of minerals. Mild dark chocolate and a trace of roast. Lacto sweetness and mild coffee and some subtle plummy fruits underneath. Semi dry finish with a hop-bitter aftertaste. Pretty good!
