4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber, white quickly disappearing head, kinda citrus hoppy, little earthy veggie something on the nose too, but very faint. Very nice mouthfeel, hint of soapiness. Alcohol very well hidden, a little too easy to drink. Definitely would buy again.
Dense, hazy burnt orange color with a BIG creamy, pillowy head of white foam. Has an orange honey blossom aromawith syrupy caramel malt at the backend of that big whiff I took. The flavor relies on big caramel base with only a slight edge of tangerine edge and pine forest finish. Doesn't quite live up to the goliaths of the imperial IPA style from the Mecca of IPAs\Imperial IPAs like San Diego. Wixie (660) - BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2017
Hazy ochre brown liquid, large head. Sweet aroma with a hint of hops. Medium body, strong carbonation. Taste is sweet and bitter. YantarCoast (1478) - Moscow, RUSSIA - AUG 6, 2017
355ml bottle (2015) from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours opaque orange with a large off-white head. Aroma is stale malt, caramel, tangerine, pine. Taste is medium sweet and heavy bitterness, alcohol, caramel, candy. Eh, not sure if it tastes like this because of its advanced age. Can’t say I enjoyed it. ruigo (3088) - PORTUGAL - JUL 20, 2017

12 oz can from the Yin and Yang four pack at Liberty Beer in Pittsburgh. a beautiful, complex and sublime beer made all the better for the concept of Taiji which warmed my heart. Served by itself without mixing for a yin and yang. Thank you Evil Twin Brewing.

Had many times never rated. From a can in a four pack of yin and yangs, 2 each. Pours light orange with tight 2 inch head. Aroma of dank hops and some fresh wort. Flavor is nice dank bud with pine and some sweet malt. Very nice balance and almost no alcohol. Big beer but very good and hoppy. Classic imperial ipa ( which is missed anymore). the_beergery (108) - - JUN 6, 2017
6 month old 12 oz bottle. Upon pouring, it appears a rich amber tone with a good head of white froth with good retention, and which regenerates upon swirling later. The froth releases a breadth of aromas, but for some reason, no specific aromas are distinct over the floral and citrus hops. Tastewise, grapefruit dominates the fruity flavours, but there are a lot of tropical fruits in there as well, as well as some pine and floral flavours. Again, like in the aromas, a lot is going on, but somewhat indistinct. The sweetness of the medium bodied brew is mixed with the intense bitterness which lingers well into the finish. Poured from a can, hazy caramel color with an off-white well lasting well laced head, heavy carbonation. Aroma is predominantly malt with notes of caramel and tropical fruit. Taste is sweet malt, caramel and tropical fruit. Taste improves as the beer warms up a bit. Good balance with a medium body and a lasting bitter hop finish. wekker84 (2390) - etten-leur, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2017
