This is a beer blend, it’s 67% of Yang (Imperial IPA) and 33% of Yin (Imperial Stout). It pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, resin and hops. Taste has coffee, fruit, caramel, dark malts. Smooth and medium bitter, quite hoppy in the palate. Perfect transgender ale. Chudwick (3274) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - DEC 19, 2015
12oz bottle - been meaning to try this one for a long time. When I smell this, I get coffee, resin and grapefruit. From the sip I get more of the same. ABV is well hidden at first. complex bitterness. long bitter finish. Ethers in the finish which overpower a semblance of booziness. also coffee roast flavors in the finish. Complex but not as sweet as I would expect. Mark_Eck (1998) - - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle. Pours black. Aroma and taste are like a black IPA. Was hoping for more imperial stoutness to come out. MetalNHopHead (2038) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Combine two beers of about equal awesomeness and you somehow get something that’s even more awesome than either is by itself. That convoluted sentence is courtesy of my blown mind. It’s amazing how the combined flavors compliment each other. Somehow Yang brings out more of Yin’s chocolate and tobacco elements. Yin, on the other hand, enhances the dank cannabis notes in Yang. In a way, it’s wrong to focus on the individual beers in this blend since this beer has such lovely harmony but I can’t help it after having each on their own. My head hurts. I’ll just stop. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, and some chocolate with a citrus/ fruity hop presence. The flavor is about the same with the interplay between the roasted stout and IIPA flavors tussling about, its interesting and pretty decent, not something i would drink often though.

Pours a finger and a half of tan head on a black body.
The aroma has a strong citrus front with a roasted malt/chocolate background. Really nice.
The taste is lemon bitterness to start, then chocolate sweet mixed with coffee bitter, finishes with a slight citrus bitterness.
The texture is crisp.
It has a great flavor profile. ajnepple (6821) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 18, 2015
On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Black appearance with a lacy, lingering tan head. Big roasted malt aroma with bitter chocolate, coffee, earthy hops, toasted grain, light pine and light grass. Similar flavor, fairly bitter and dry with hints of citrus zest and light herbal hops. Medium to full body. I like Yin (3.9) and Yang is OK (3.4) so this falls pretty much in the middle. venom666 (1050) - Elche, Alicante, SPAIN - NOV 12, 2015
Took is as Yin&Yang bottle. Beer in the glass pours a very dark brown color with medium tan head. Aroma is really Black IPAish, hop forward, with tropical fruits and citrus and a coffee and chocolate base. Taste follows the aroma, again, grapefruit, pineapple and sweet citrus, with a very complementing Stout character, with coffee, chocolate and some molasses. Bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable to be a 10% ABV beer. Really nice. artiredbirds (453) - St.Petersburg, RUSSIA - NOV 6, 2015

33 cl systembolaget. En ok öl med lite av varje. Själv föredrar jag nog en Stout eller en ipa.
