English Language Label: This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).

Takie lekko przyprawowe, ziemiste nuty. Całkiem spoko. 6/4/7/4/14

Opaque black - brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Surprisingly thin dark malts, decent dark chocolate, tangy. A trace of dark malt cream. Tangy dark fruits. A fairly light finish brings some roast bitterness. Rich but otherwise unremarkable.

Tastes like an overburnt baltic porter, but absolutely not like a proper imperial stout. Very bitter, ashy, though. A fruity sweet note for a little balance. Not any special:(

Been there, Done that. Exceptionally glad to be doing it again. Like a Seinfeld marathon; Familiar yet sensational. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opaque black color as usual with a creamy slow settling head of light brown foam. Has a complex aroma and flavor profile. There is smoke, raw cocoa, some iced black coffee, and dark berries in the mimimum. A bold stout that I look forward to mixing with its counterpart Yang.

Deep copper, fine bubbles, towering and persistent head. Boozy nose. Full body, dense flavor, abundant carbonation, silky and hot mouthfeel, long aftertaste. Intensely bitter dominating the moderately sweet background, dry finish. Dark roast flavors, coffee, coffee, coffee. Powerful, wakes you up before it puts you to sleep. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a black color. Whoa. About one finger brown head. Good lacing.

Aroma is lots of dark berries. Light chocolate, medium coffee. Dark fruit. Dark roasted malt.

Taste is berries, lots of dark fruit. Licorice. Light chocolate, medium coffee. Toffee. Pretty bitter, and strong.

Mouthfeel is full, very heavy. Alcohol is hard to detect. Bitter, but smooth.

Overall, it's big, but it's good. I'd drink it again, I'd buy it again.

Pours near black with a moderate tan head. the nose is surprisingly low on chocolate or coffee roast notes and is mostly modest hops and a touch of dark fruit and caramel. Mouth feel is surprisingly thin for the style with a blend of coffee, plums, dark chocolate, bittering hops, and a little alcohol forming the flavor. Finish is quick and slightly sticky. A good beer but honestly not as good as I had hoped for
