Dark as hell, medium sized tan head. Big coffee aroma, some dark chocolate, brown sugar and alcohol, but not as much as I would expect from abv 10%. Roasty. Nice oily texture. Full bodied and flat carbonated. Awesome!

Bottle consumed at Cropredy Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy, Oxon, Friday 8th August 2014 Pours black with a sticky beige head. Really heavy treacle, sticky and drinling an awful lot easier than a 10% beer should. Some sweet liquorice leaves a lingering roasty taste in mouth. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Thick black, loose brown head dissipates quickly. Aroma of rich coffee and dark chocolate. Loads of hop and roast bitterness. Dark fruit flavors quickly overwhelmed by dark chocolate and roast malt flavors. Very full body. Nice imperial stout but lacking some of the complexity of a great example.

[ Smak: zdecydowanie pełny, umiarkowanie słodki i wyraźnie alkoholowy. Paloność, spieczone ciasto, lekka czekolada, suszone owoce.

Look, this is a good smoky and rich stout, but nothing to throw a parade over. Yin is an above average imperial stout, thats all. Serving size: 12oz bottle.

Bottle. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of roast chocolate malt, vanilla and some hops. Bitter. Creamy. Overall a decent stout.

On tap at Tørst. Slightly smokey and bready on the nose. Pours a thick black. Very smooth but strong. Intense but balanced flavor. Awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was poured from a bottle at home in a tulip glass. It pours a nice brown head. I was initially struck by a yeasty/basement aroma that gave way to chocolate and coffee. It is moderately sweet with medium bitterness. Overall, a very good to excellent Imperial Stout.

Bottle at home split with sarah from bottle shop St Albans. Opaque black dark brown coloured pour with a thin medium tan head. Aromas are burnt sugars, harsh ashy roast, dark choc and booze. As the beer opens up a bit I get more dried fruits and hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of dark choc, dried fruits, woody and booze. Palate is smooth medium full with moderate mouth filling carbonation. Long duration of roasted malt wood and dried fruits. Good but slightly harsh.

Aroma: Slightly benign Appearance: A beautiful black beer, with a rich thick tan foamy head Taste: Medium bitterness up front, balanced with a lightly sour/salty backend Palate: Full bodied with an oily, slick texture, flat carbonation with a slightly astringent finish Overall: A decent stout, definitely middle of the road for me.
