English Language Label: This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).

This stout is delicious on its own and more so mixed with the Yang if youre looking for a delicious black IPA. It makes for an amazing blend of IPA and Stout which combine together to produce a rich and thick overflowing head. Excellent!

On tap at Brewski 220614. Awesome beer that is as black as black can be with loads of flavour and burnt malt aromas.

I was looking for another stout and Lucas of Glenville beverage recommended this. What a great surprise. Has a bold taste and really should be imbibed just below room temp. At 10% alc it is a great aperitif, and is perfect with a nice cigar. I firmly recommend it! ---rated by Mowatson49

Draft at the Birch. What a gorgeous beer -- rich and surly with a thick, copious head of tan foam. The aroma is pure wickedness -- percolating with rich roast and alcohol. This is perhaps one of the most phenomenal beers Ive had in a long time. Rich and flavorful yet light in body. A masterpiece. (#4134, 6/11/2011)

Almost the perfect imperial stout. Could use just a little bit more head retention. Strong chocolate malt aroma. Pairs extremely well with a chocolat mousse. Perfect alcohol flavor compliments the chocolate.

Piwo butelkowe. W aromacie kawa, czekolada, wiśnie w likierze. Kolor czarna smoła bez przebłyskw, obfita beżowa piana do ostatniego łyka. Wysycenie niskie do średniego idealnie pasuje do całokształtu. Wybitna mieszanka.

Ottima stout, caffettosa, amara, bella piena e bella corposa. Una botta pazzesca! Ma di classe.

Poderosa Stout. Tomple i tatipa. Es pot mastegar. Ara faltar provarla barrejada amb la seva germana Yan. Impresionant.

Pours an obsidian color with dark brown head. Nice aroma of coffee, berries, and overall dark roasted nose. Full, rich mouthfeel...flavors of coffee, bitter chocolate, berries. Nice bitterness from the hops as well. Great example of the style.

Pours pitch black. Dark roasted chocolate flavors with some acidic red fruit in the background. Really nice.
