Aroma: Grapefruit, citrus (orange), caramel.
Appearance: Opaque, cloudy, flat orange. Almost cider.
Taste: Grapfruit front. Bitter, does not sweeten up. Lacks enough balance.
Palate: Not too dry. Flat. Bitter.

Bottle from Total Wine in Jensen Beach, no bottle date. Orange pour with an off-orange head, leaving some lace. Aroma has sweet fruits, pine and garlic. Later some caramel shows through. Taste is of citrus, heavy pine, some resin and some caramel. Thick and syrupy. Finishes bitter and sweet, with length. This was rough and tough, and enjoyable. 14.9 BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Bottle. Clear rich orange pour with a soapy white head. Dank pine and tropical nose. Sharp hop bite on the tongue. Quite aggressive.

Pours hazy orangish color with off white head. Aromas of grapefruit rind and caramel. Moderately bitter grapefruit rind flavor with a touch of maltiness. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. pilgrimoutlaw (888) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Bottle pours cloudy gold with white head. Citrus, pine, resin. Underlying earthy aroma. In your face extreme bitterness, mild sweetness. Medium, crisp body. A little trailing astringency. Not for the faint of heart. Maxbier (954) - Maryland, USA - DEC 20, 2014
A tap at source. Dark golden nearly cooper color. Piney grassy "green" hop aroma. Flavor starts piney and grapefruit, slight sweetness. Then bitter pine, tropical fruit finish. Very nice. zizzybalubba (1862) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - DEC 15, 2014
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Virginia Beach, VA. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Pine, wet grass, and tropical fruit aromas. Bitter hop taste of grapefruit rind, pine needles, and mango. Bitterness lingers but is certainly not unpleasant. A very nicely done DIPA. Dr_Fellini (1020) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Bottle to glass. Pours a mostly clear light amber orange color with a light tan head. Aroma is a nice tropical fruits, caramel malts. Flavor has a solid bitterness to it with a touch of citrusy tropical fruits. Light to medium in body with a lingering bitter citrus character. Overall not too shabby.
