COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lot #6 Double ipa: think of this as our Lot #3 on performance-enhancing malt and hops. 8.5%abv, and all kinds of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Tommy got very nervous when he saw all the hops going into this one. 18.5°

Pint at Meridian Pint. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity nose, citrus. The flavor is mild bitterness, big oranges, a bit of zesty lemon and big resin. Quite nice.

Pours a hazy copper colour with no head and a little off white lacing. Nice floral aroma, with hints of citrus lemon. Tastes of pineapple, mango with a citrus lemon back. A nice beer.

Pale amber thin lacy offwhite head; aroma is hoppy piney/spruce Christmas tree memories immediately come to mind; feels medium foamy fizzy; finishes moderately dry malty hoppy

This one poured a dark yellow with a white head. Aroma was of oranges, grass and booze. Flavor was similar bitter and ora.get, caramel and booze. Not refined at all.

Hoppy without being overly bitter (?), is such a thing possible? Dark amber with rich creamy head, hops, malt and chocolate(?) on the nose, malt first then hops in the taste. Malt on the finish, with some hops dragging it out.

Bursting with tropical and floral aromas. Clear orange with golden highlights, and a fully lasting white head. Mostly dry with a bit of sweet malt, juicy fruity tropical hops, and aromatic floral notes. Medium bodied, chewy. Delicious.

A pretty good, albeit not particularly unique double IPA. Very bitter, though with a good, sweet, malty base.

Pours a lightly hazy orange with a medium creamy white head. Great hop aroma. Lots of orange with a touch of pine. Flavor of fresh American hops, loads of orange, some pine and a touch of caramel malt
