From a 12 oz bottle at home. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a thick white head. Citrus hop aroma. Citrus, pine, tropical fruit with some biscuit. Smooth and full mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Nice DIPA. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 31, 2010
On tap at Frisco Grille, Columbia: Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh abundant resiny grapefruity hops with some pale malty sweetness underneath. Starts with good fullness and a nice light caramely sweetness with lots of assertive citrusy bittering and flavor hops before a drier, crisp bittersweet finish. Very flavorful, yet well balanced and quite hoppy hiding its alcohol well. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring and a small island. The nose is a little too heavy on the crystal malt sweetness for my tastes, light to moderate citrusy hops. The flavor is lightly bitter with a huge amount of crystal malt sweetness. The hops are so dulled by the awful sweet malt base that they really don’t have a chance to shine at all. Very light bitterness for a DIPA as well. Medium bodied and a bit sticky with hard fizzy carbonation. A pretty awful DIPA. I had their Lot #3 IPA and it was pretty delicious, this is a 180 degree turn from that one. The sweetness on the finish just lingers on for ever. Yuck. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
This one poured a dark yellow with a white head. Aroma was of oranges, grass and booze. Flavor was similar bitter and ora.get, caramel and booze. Not refined at all.

Grapefruit and orange nose. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head. Grapefruit, tangerine, lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation. Solid. jgb9348 (6434) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Rich deep hazy copper coloured body with a bright orange and peach coloured glow with a massive, four centimetre tall tan head - very nice. Aroma of resin, alcohol, pine, grapefruit, a lot of sugars and some noticeable malt. Full-bodied; Super rich flavour of grapefruit and resin up front - this is a pungent and potent beer. Aftertaste shows a great variety of hop flavours with floral notes spanning to pine and grapefruit and everything in between. All with a lot of malt behind for a great balance, but still a strong beer. Overall, a nice and deep imperial IPA that has a great flavour profile, is strong and pungent and served in a small format bottle. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 02-April-2013 for US$2.79 sampled at home in Washington on 08-May-2013. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2015
12oz bottle from Joe Canal Fire Rd. Poured a dark amber body with a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of amber malts, toast, grains, citrus rind and alcohol. Body is a bit on the harsh side with lingering bitterness and some alcohol heat. Meh nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Growler from cask shared by YGTBSM94. Mellowed out carbonation, no real head. Hazy honey orange-brown. Clean, smooth hop tones. Some tropical action. Very nice beer, well balanced, but still hop forward as per style. The body has diminished in the growler, but the flavor is still excellent. Well done! sonnycheeba (6259) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Draft. Pours clear copper with thin off-white head; good lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops, lemon, and light toasted malt. Flavor is pine hops with a citrus aftertaste. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth. Good beer.
