3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is a bit stale, but otherwise sweet and earthy. Appearance is cloudy and orange with a nice head. Taste is sweet and earthy with a nice hop character. Palate is a bit dry.
Bready malt with a honey tinge. Hops a bold bit a bit cardboardy. Finish is smooth. Macegan75 (845) - Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2017
4 pack at Wegman’s Collegeville. Pours cloudy pale orange with tons of foam that lingers & sediment prevalent. Aroma is crystal malt, fruit cocktail in heavy syrup, lemon rind, grains & grassy notes. Taste is similar with a juicy fruit flavor that lingers into mild bitterness. OnTheTrail (505) - Virginia, USA - MAR 26, 2017
Pours slightly hazy orange gold, off white head. Aroma is intense pine and cutrus. Notes of spruce, juniper, forests. I get some citrus juice, but not as strong and not as specific. You could say grapefruit, but its grapefruit that come closer to p8ne, IMO. Maybe also mango? Taste is similar, pine up front, hints of malt, then bitterness that follows. Smooth well carbonated mouthfeel. Maybe a little on the heavy side. General warmth - the alcohol is not as hidden as on some high ABV beers. Bitterness works well aND is not overwhelming. All around decent IIPA. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Grapefruit and orange nose. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head. Grapefruit, tangerine, lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation. Solid. Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - OCT 14, 2016
Lot #6 Double ipa: think of this as our Lot #3 on performance-enhancing malt and hops. 8.5%abv, and all kinds of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Tommy got very nervous when he saw all the hops going into this one. 18.5°

Wine Warehouse, bottle. Pours orange, slightly hazy, with an inch of light orange head. Tremendous amount of oranges in the nose, along with pine, grapefruit, grass. Flavor is somewhat soapy... pine, grapefruit, orange peel, along with burnt caramel. Jow (3923) - New York, USA - AUG 16, 2016
Tap at churchkey. Orange copper pour soapy head. Nose is hoppy and candy. Tastes of oranges, grapefruit, malty, pine, caramel and brown sugar. Decent MattShizzle (613) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Bottle. Light copper color - clear. Aroma is quite hoppy. Really good. Good balance of hops and malt, but with the hops dominant. glennmastrange (2867) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 18, 2016
Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate cooked orange for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with date and toffee in the background. Head is average size, frothy, off-white with excellent lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy, dark amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and slightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a soft to lively carbonation and a moderately astringent finish. Definitely one of the heavier weighted and thicker varieties of DIPAs. A slow sipper for sure. Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - APR 2, 2016
Draft. Pours burnt orange with thin white head that dissipates. Above average carbonation. Citrus aroma. Some complexity but underwhelming for a dipa.
