3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
After having Evolution’s Lot 6 and really liking it I was anxious to give this one a try. Pours a very light amber with ample head. Aroma is what I expect from an IPA and consists mainly of pine but there are also hints of citrus, floral and tropical fruit. Taste follows the nose and is very clean and crisp. The body is medium and the finish is slightly dry. Although this beer lacks the complexities of many DIPAs I think it is a very well done IPA and would make an excellent session beer. Next weekend I am going to try some other offerings from Evolution because the two I have had so far were both excellent. I think the rating here is a little low.
16 oz pour on draft at Brother Jimmy's BBQ, National Harbor. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, light malt. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, pine, light malt. Medium body with a dry finish. Good. Jabah (559) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - OCT 26, 2017
Was first introduced to this brewery about 6-12 months ago when they started distributing to FL. Tried their porter which was decent. Recently moved to Maryland so naturally had to sample this one. Seems to be one of the standard IPAs on tap up here, which I had with a dinner/lunch pairing. Cloudy medium orange appearance. Leans towards the hop side of balance. Smooth and crisp texture. Another one that I'll probably get a 6 of to get a better idea. The_Osprey (9641) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2017

Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is boiled sweets, mixed citrus, juicy fruit sugars, grassy finish. Nice stuff. (7-4-7-4-15=3.7) zutote (4) - - AUG 28, 2017 does not count
2nd beer of night. Doesn't smell as good but tastes pretty good. May need to try clean.

Pours amber leaving some nice lacings. Quite fruity aroma, some fresh hops there also. Taste is creamy and hoppy at the same time, very smooth IPA. Malty base well balanced with decent hop character. Guava feel there for some reason. Dry malty-bitter finish.

At Fells Point. Pours dark orange, off white head. Slight haze. Strong grapefruit hops aroma. Nice juicy grapefruity IPA, with some malt, bitter only on the finish. Light to medium mouthfeel. Pretty nice. Scopey (16223) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2017
Cask at GBBF. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The aroma is sticky, toffee, fudge, honey, dried fruits, fruit cake, candied orange and sugar. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, wood, leather, tannin, orange peel, toffee, sugar, crystal malt and marmalade with drying finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit sweet, could have more condition. Derhey (5) - - JUL 23, 2017 does not count
A nice beer with a hoppy forefront and a clean finish. Great flavor. Sits lightly on the palate but has a tremendous presence.
