Bottle - pours jet black with so much foam that I had to wait to pour the rest in the glass. I did detect a a chocolate and smoke flavor but for the most part this brew just wasnt all that appealing. The mouthfeel seemed really thin as well. Drinkable but it wont be on my want list again.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Dark brown in colour, with reddish undertones and a decent, beige, head. Multi-layered malts character with chocolate, toastiness and a touch of porridge oats, before some fruity sweetness and a lingering, dry, finish with a touch of leafy hop. Excellent.

This bottle was from an Evolution variety pack. Looks tasty, a very dark brown. Aroma was chocolate and maple syrup. Taste chocolate, raisins, a slight bit of smoke. Fairly thin watery feel to it. An ok porter.

Dark and roasty malt. Caramel, toast, char. A bit of cocoa and some sweetness along with a smoky flavor. Lighter than a smoked malt, though. Smooth and long in the finish.
