12 oz bottle: Pours a bright yellow/orange with a thick white head. Aroma is sour, bready, cheese, not very appealing. Taste is salty and bitter with tastes of sourdough. Palate is bubbly bitter and sour on the finish. Not very good.

Drinking at an airport bar in baltimore. Nice aroma, body and flavour falls a little short but still an acceptable pale ale.

Aroma promises a lot but the rest doesnt match the hype and brings a decent textbook tasting pale ale which is nice on a hot day. But not very primal which I took to mean interesting. Golden color, straw and grass with some citeus in the finish. I could drink a bunch of these but my main draw is that awesome aroma not the flavor.

Best before October 2012.

A: This beer is a beautiful looking pale ale despite no matter what glass I use, Ive drank a 6 pack now all out of different glasses and this looks stunning in all. A crystal clear amber body shows off a lot of carbonation activity, this beer is alive! A sizable very light tan creamy head sits on-top with good retention.

S: The aroma here is pretty nice as well, a bit grassy and resinous pine with hints of citrus. The aroma has a nice strength and a good balance.

T: The wonderful aroma blends with a strong malt base. Grass and pine with hints of sweet citrus make up the hop profile providing a moderate bitterness. This is very clean.

M: Creamy body.

O: This is a really solid pale ale, I dont know why its rated so low, but Im really enjoying this. The hops come through fresh and theres good balance, this is very drinkable. If I could get this in New Jersey this would be possibly my favorite lawn-mower beer. Im wondering if others have maybe had old bottles, or the brewery is very inconsistent, but this is a solid beer.

Bottle from Blue Dos. Pours translucent dark straw with minimal fizzy off-white head and a ton of carbonation streams. Nose is pale malt, honey, white grapes, hops. Tastes dry and floral, pale malty, citric, with hops, chardonnay notes. Has some off vegetal finishing notes. This one was just a bit outside (the good beer level).

Pours amber in color and has some haze about itself. the foamy cap is little and fizzles away. Aroma is mostly hops, citrus and malts are light. Smells good. Taste is pretty good almost assertive with a balanced hop malt attack although flavor is light. Hop has a molasess or minty flavor that comes through almost at the aftertaste. A slickery smooth feel. Pretty good but plain.

Bottle. This poured with an alarming amount of head and at least a partially vinegary aroma. Not a good sign. Once the wild foam settled, what was left was a scarily chunky, pale orange brew with almost no life. The beer drinks with a thin mouthfeel, metallic tingle, and a vague malty citrus. Disappointing. Bottle. I am super confused by this being labeled as a pale. It is a Belgian single or I have never had a beer. And it is good one. Deep mostly clear gold. Very nice aroma of orange and maybe light pine. That fruitiness continues into the flavor with coriander. Balanced. The body slick but light with big prickly carbonation.

Deep gold pour, white head. Very plain caramel malt nose with some spent grain and mild, dull hops. Flavor is more sweet than I expected. No hops to speak of. Very average...at best.
