Opaque black with reddish brown highlights, two-inch foamy tan head with good retention and very nice lace. Big coffee aromas dominate, with notes of roasted grain and dark fruit. pleasant sense of smoke as well. Lots of dark roasted coffee flavor, some dark fruit sweetness, earth and wood, and a gentle alcohol warmth. Mild hopping provides a balancing bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, moderate carbonation and a lingering smokiness.

Rich coffee nose, full dark roast. green with a little berry even. Flavor is highly roasted as well...almost as good but a little greener on the coffee part. Good brew for a decent price.

Bottle from Perfect Pour. Dark brown body with thin mocha head. Nose is toasty, dark chocolate. Taste is also roasty, caramel, dark chocolate and of course coffee notes. Its good but too rounded and easy. Would have wanted more of a kick to it.

Good, but not great. Natural coffee characteristics. Works nice as a sweet stout.
