3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. Pours a dark gold color, 2 finger tan head that dissipates quickly. A bit of pine on nose with a bit of malt. Tastes malty sweet, bit of coffee like bitterness, crystal malt is apparent. Crisp mouthfeel and medium length finish.
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Very fruity. Tasty. Deep color. Slightly unfiltered. Bitter at the end. Sweet and sour literally.
Draft sample at their tasting room, hazy reddish-amber color with white head. Aroma of caramel malt and lighter fruity hops. Taste adds notes of toffee, slight nuttiness, toasted malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Light-medium body, moderate-low carbonation, dry with light roast bitter finish. Very nice hoppy amber ale. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - SEP 24, 2014
Dark amber pour, nice head. HInts of maltiness, didn’t really get the hops but I enjoyed. orangesol (987) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2014

A - Pours hazy amber orange with a creamy one finger tall white head leaving light rings of lacing down the glass.
S - Smells of lightly toasted caramel malt, muted grassy hops, biscuity yeast, and a touch of dryness. I was expecting a bit more hops in this one.
T - Starts off with some toasted caramel malt sweetness slowly giving way to a mix of dulled grassy hops and chewy yeast. Finish is a touch dry with some lingering hop bitterness. Pretty good but I was really expecting more hops.
M - Medium-light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Light feel with a mix of dryness and bitterness in the finish.
O - Not bad but it never really blew me away. It was easy drinking but I am not sure if it was an old keg or not but it could have used a bit more hops.
Interesting taste. Has a sort of mild odd fruit taste which was surprising. Carbed body, but bitter on the after taste. Didn’t even finish it ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Caramel colored and flavored. Some bread and apricot, a bit of grassy hops to round it out. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - APR 21, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy amber body, one finger white foamy head. Some carbonation is seen rising.
The smell had light caramel/fruity tones coming forth in front of light hops, malts are slightly there.
The taste was sweet yet bitter between previously mentioned flavors, fruity aftertaste, slight malty finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is spot on.
Overall, I say good for the style and good for me, Id have again if looking for an ESB in the DE area. alobar (3793) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2014
Amber pour with minimal head. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, and citrus. Caramel sweet flavor with toasted malt and nuts. Not bad. HellesBunny666 (243) - Virginia, USA - APR 3, 2014
Malty and citric aromas, dry, vinegar smell like hangover beer. Tastes so much better than it smells: light body, smooth, malty and roasty, but not sickening. Pretty decent after all, but not special in any means.
