Amber color with a thin off white head. Sweet grainy nose. Almost white sugar sweetness, raw grains, and some dry citrus rind in the finish. Smooth but uninteresting.

Foxbush (2141) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 10, 2016
12 oz bottle The ale poured a clear amber color with a small head and no lacing. The aroma had bread, apples and caramel. The flavor had malt sweetness with some hints of spice. The red ale has a medium body with a soft carbonation. This is a nice ale with pleasant bitterness.

Alright copper pour w/ a decent tan head & not much lacing. The aroma is faint w/ a bit of malt coming through. The taste is a fine balance between malt & hop making the beer smooth. It’s not the most flavorful but it is certainly drinkable. Not bad!

Tap. Pours mostly clear dark amber. Aroma is caramel and lightly toasted malts, red grapes, faint vanilla, and faint sweetbread. Flavor is rich and malty with caramel and berry sweetness throughout, and very faint mint hop notes. Medium body.

Dark chestnut pour, frothy head and okay lacing. Caramel malts all over the nose and tongue. It’s sweet, like a lot of sweet. Caramel, some biscuit, some light fruit with just a touch of English hops. It’s just too sweet.
