Draft behind the tracks. Pours thick jet black with small tan head. Nose is roasty dark malt, chocoff.. Tastes roasty black malty, with cacao, mild coffee and vanilla, and a smooth finish.
draft at SL Evo event..pours a medium black color with slight head..nose is roasty with oats and cocoa..there is some presence of the salty brine from the oysters that adds some complexity..wouldn’t exactly say this a full flavor stout that is too sweet or anything..overall an ok offering..perhaps if you like oyster stouts more, this will be more appealing to you. ganache (6056) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2014

Draft at TJs. Pours pitch black with minimal head. Aromas of the softest smoke and dark chocolate. Tastes of milky chocolate. Finishes dry and long. Delicious.

Tap at Max’s. Pours clear black with a medium, frothy beige head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is roast and coffee malt, oysters, dates and prunes. Flavor is dry roast malts, light ash, light chocolate and earthy hop bitterness, and faint dark fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
