some acrid smoke a touch of caramel and plastic. after some time a juicy citrus fruity plastic seems evident. more time produces the disjointed different grains. perhaps infected. body on the lighter side of moderate and foam is caustic and weak. HeadyDE (840) - Delaware, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle into pint glass..large head that dies down to a nice half finger...aroma of chocolate..coffee..palate is extremely smooth with chocolate dominant and an slight aftertaste of cola..this is a good, solid flavorful porter that I will be getting more of in the future..well done... hypn0toad (267) - Maryland, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Am I drinking a chocolate cigarette? I like it. Rich thick dark burnt caramel tones. Cabin in the woods with a dog fire and a hand log. jgb9348 (6249) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Deep dark brown coloured body with a super thick, five centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of nuts, earth, caramel and a bit of funk - cardboard, too. Light to Medium-bodied; Very earthy, roasty malt flavours with a caramelised sugar flavour, some light peat, and even a bit of metal noticeable. Aftertaste is quite strong with deeply roasted malt, some nuts, burnt sugars and a lot of bitterness at the end. Overall, a strong and relatively robust porter with some good complexity and nice depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liqours in Washington, DC on 28-October-2011 for US$2.29 sampled at home in Washington on 07-October-2012.

Pours dark with minimal, quickly dissipating head. Looks like a porter. Nothing overwhelmingly bad about the appearance but it as it should be. Same for aroma. Roasty, hints of chocolate. Tastes pretty good with dry, choclately aftertaste but nothing outstanding. A good beer but probably would not preferentially seek it out.

Taste like coffee. Dark color. Bought it in Ocean City, Md. Goes down easy. Initial smell a little sour. dmac (6250) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - AUG 24, 2012
12 oz bottle from a 6pack purchased in Rehobeth. Poured with the tell tale sign if an infection, 90% big beige foamy head and 10% super dark chocolate brown. Aroma of used band-aids, cola, hint of soy sauce, dusty chocolate, dark rotting cherries. The body is super fizzy, sort of like seltzer on steroids, medium density and the aftertaste is all carbonation fizz. Flavor held in there for now and seems to be brown bread, chocolate, hint of lemon citrus. Three sips for a tick and the rest down the drain, won’t be buying any EVolution 6packs anytime soon. Pour: Xtreme gushing (half bottle). Dark brown, low beige head. Aroma is of malt, caramel. Taste is of roasted malt, acidity. Overall: Infected. Unpleasant acidity. tom10101 (6081) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012
Bottle (12 oz). Thanks to TheCPJ for this one. More than half of the beer went out when we opened it. Brown beer with a tiny beige head and some lacing. Aroma is soft with caramel and malt. Taste of roasted malt and caramel. Bad acidic mouthfeel. Maybe this one was infected?
