Bomber, bought in Oregon. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee and some dark fruit. Pours dark brown with a large mocha brown head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavors with notes of chocolate to go along with a medium body. Finishes a bit dry but quite smooth with some dark fruit flavors as well as some coffee that lingers a bit on the palate at the end. Pretty nice stout. Pours a finger and half of tan head on a black body. Aroma is a great blend of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Taste is mild dark chocolate, some burnt wood and lemon bitter at the end. Texture is smooth and soft. seehaferb23 (281) - - JAN 3, 2017
Tasted by 5 members of Cannery Row Beer Club. Not one of our favorites. Cheers!

22 oz bomber purchased from Lifesource.
Poured from the bottle..it has a cascadeing effect for a minute..its a black ale as expected but with a large tightly bubbled tan head.
Fine aromas of cocoa. semi dark roast coffee and Yoohoo chocolate milk . Nice.
Taste similar but very thick creamy and luscious. Really nice licorice aspects in the end.
Great smooth low carbonated mouth feel.

Bottle. Nose of soy, cocoa, pine. Lightly roasted in a pleasant way. Solid, tasty, balanced stout with nice chocolate and rich malts. maekchu (4024) - Hirakata, JAPAN - FEB 27, 2016
Tap at Ex Novo. Nose of chocolate, coffee, smoke, all sweet and malty. Dark brown, tan head, some lacing. Thin chocolatey initial, light sweet coffee, moderate hopping in mid and final, and good bitter tracks. Medium-heavy body. Very nice compact flavors and good balance overall. On tap at Ex Novo, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is rich, with coffee, dry roasted malt and cocoa powder. Flavour is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, coffee and roast. Low residual sweetness. Big and heavy without being too abrasive. Very good. Ferris (16296) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
Draft - Dark roast and a touch of liquorice. Jet black with a brown head. Lots of dark roast, some dark fruit and toast. Decent.
