Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours a cloudy copper with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong spice, pumpkin, agave, oak. Medium body, strong agave, pumpkin, cinnamon, boozy mess. jandd1983 (4544) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Bottle. It poured a cloudy amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of pineapple with a slightly musty undertone from the Belgian yeast. The taste was of fruity esters with a touch of tartness in the backend. There was some tequila heat with more slightly tart pineapple. Very nice. tmoreau (4579) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Shared bomber poured to small snifters, displaying a hazed, amber color, with a presentable layer of soft white head foam, and some foamy cling to the lacing. The nose was malt & pit fruit-like sweetness, a bit of light pumpkin & spice, and lurking alcohol. The taste presented subtle barrel hints, and some agave sweetness, yet retained a good tangy & boozy nature. Actually quite drinkable, partially due to the small portion, and the light abrasion of a low bitterness. Liked it. deyholla (12021) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 9, 2015
Sampled from the bottle. Pours a hazy amber copper with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy grain and bread with some pumpkin, spice and tequila underlying. Flavor has notes of sweet grain and pumpkin with bread and tequila supporting. zebra (2247) - Illinois, USA - SEP 7, 2015

On tap at ITAP Soulard. Quite dark opaque. Aroma is pumpkin and wood. The flavor begins with pumpkin and then some spices are tasted. The spices are not as heavy as some but they have nutmeg and cinnamon. The after taste is tequila and then wood. The finish brings a little chocolate. A bit of earth. This is a sipper. It is also quite interesting. charule (2286) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 18, 2014
On tap at FOBAB, numbers are right, descriptions are difficult to read. Spice cinnamon. Poured amber. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2014
This poured a light orange with a white head. Aroma was of mainly pumpkin spices, and mild tequila. Flavor similar, mainly a pumpkin beer, tequila doesn’t add much or detract. Finhead (1792) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - NOV 29, 2014
A hazy, amber-orange pour with an off-white head. The aroma is big with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, some florals. It has a full body with creamy texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet some alcohol warmth in the finish. A unique brew and well worth the try. phaleslu (10546) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Draft at FOBAB. Pours a mostly clear dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Both the tequila barrels and imperial pumpkin ale are here in a big way, although I don’t know that I could call it balanced because the notes from each are so bold and arguably aggressive. Notes of agave, oak, and booze hang out alongside ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel, graham cracker, and earth. Medium-bodied, with a spicy, warming mouthfeel and moderate to medium carbonation. The lower ratings aren’t necessarily surprising, given how ’out there’ this one is, but I simply disagree. Really unique and fun.
