355ml bottle. It is a hppy amber ale. Very toasty adn solid malt body. Its bitter with a hoppiness that evolves as it warms. thegreenrooster (4697) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Pour is a dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of piney hops and chewy crystal malts. Flavor is again a decent floral hop with a nice earthy and caramel malt that is more dry than sweet. Finish leaves more of the malt along with a nice bitterness. Decent hop to malt ratio makes this quite flavorful. Finhead (1885) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Clear, amber-brown pour with a light, tan head. The aroma has floral hops with notes of grapefruit and spruce. It has a light, smooth texture with lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a long finish. sharkbcr (162) - Illinois, USA - FEB 12, 2016
Dark Amber color with a ample light skin an head. Aroma is piney and citrus. Taste leans to the hoppy-citrus but doesn’t hide the the malt. Excellent! Terminus (3755) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 4, 2016
Bottle-Pours deep amber copper amber hue with a nice eggshell spritzy head with some decent lacing. Nose is awesome-lots of grapefruit, pine, resin, citrus rind, caramel malt, toasted malt/bread. fantastic! Flavors follow the nose very well but has a very balanced flavor between big hop bitterness, citus and the mentioned lovely malt profile. Body is crisp and easy to session. Long finish of grapefruit, tangerine, lingering resin. Big bitterness and very long finish. lasts for minutes. This stuff is fantastic. This competes with the best of this style (reds rye, hoppy birthday, green flash red, etc).

The beer pours dark summer with a large off white head. The aroma has tangerine, grapefruit, rich toasted malt and a little sweetness. The flavor starts with dry bitter hops with various forms of citrus and zest and drier malt than aroma let on. The finish is harsh and on resiny side. Solid hoppy ale. Baby’s first rating. Extra characters to meet the limit. What a dumb rule. Up yours, ratebeer. Strykzone (7889) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2015
Pint at Old Bakery Beer Company. Deep amber brown. This is, indeed, a hop bomb. For a hop lover this is a Valentines Day delight! Huge grapefruit and citrus, tropical, and so much more. An hour later I see the ABV and am amazed that it is not at least 8%. Malts? I suppose so but the hops are so nuclear that they are barely noticed. Wow!
