750 ml bottle from Niles, big thanks! This is the 6.5 ABV bottle and believe from 2015. Pours clean clear copper orange with a quick sudsy white head that fades and shows good carbonation. Aroma is bright sugary malt with clove ginger coriander some hidden white pepper and mutated citrus hops trying to fight through. Taste has a quick bitter touch with malt and sugars coming for front and clove ginger coriander and citrus peel showing their stance though the finish. Palate is clean crisp all the way fighting the middle of the spectrum. This is pretty solid take of a holiday ale, not heavy and not light right in the middle where so many of these seasonals are always cloying. Nice brew!

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours a cloudy amber gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has spice, light bread and some sweet grains underlying. Flavor begins with light grain, some spice and a bit of ginger coming through.

Cloudy golden color. Sweet malt and spicy nose. Spicy, sweet, wheaty malt flavors. Coriander and ginger. Nice offering from Excelsior even though I don't love the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If a gingerbread man was made into a beer, this is what it would taste like. Very thin finish.

Draught at the brewery, December 2012. Lots of ginger. Light malt and grain, thin palate. They did a good job with the ginger but the beer is too light.

Tap at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden orange pour with a small head. Coriander and ginger fo’ sho’ - pleasant and sessionable.

On draught at the brewery taproom in Excelsior, Minnesota. Pours a sen-clear light amber brown colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates and leaves a thin white ring and spotty lacing. Aroma has ginger and coriander with a hint of orange peel, and caramel malt. Taste is light to medium bodied with flavors of light caramel malt, light ginger, a distinct bready caramel malt, some oat-like presence with orange peel and coriander. Finish is quite smooth, low bitterness with aftertastes of ginger, coriander and light caramel. Flavor profile reminds me of my favorite Scottish Thanksgiving stuffing without the sage.

On tap at brewery. Pours a dark copper with no head. Aroma is spices. Flavor is the perfect winter beer with cinnamon and other flavors added in to make it enjoyable this time of the year. As my girlfriend said, it tastes like Christmas.
