COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Old German-style tart wheat ale originating from Goslar, brewed with French grey sea salt and Indian coriander. Dry, low hop bitterness. Coriander adds a hint of spice while the sea salt and acidity provide refreshing sharpness. The G- Funk mothership has landed!

Clear rich golden color under a thin foamy white cap. Bright grapefruit zesty aroma that’s a little funky and a little earthy wild. Brisk tart flavor that’s a little wild and citric tart with a wallop of grapefruit zest and grapefruit peel and lightly briney kisses. Kinda smooth but citric tart.

Sampler at brewpub. Pours yellow with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lots of tartness on the nose and tongue along with some citrus notes especially on the nose. Puckers the mouth on the finish. Nice!

Lovely coriander and fruit smell, coriander is dominant. Straw gold colour. Coriander dominates the taste, can pick up the salt. Good for a hot summers day, but not for everyone. Medium mouthfeel.

Standard longneck, funkadelic label. Pale, misty, yellow-white brew. Extra special thanks to Rachael for walking this out and sharing. Nice, light, biotic, yeasty aroma. Way tart, some biscuity tones, enjoyable. Very light body, good carbonation balance. Tanginess sits on the top of the tongue. More.

Draft at the Iowa Taproom. Hazy golden yellow appearance with a small white head. Aroma of lemon zest, light spice and light bread. The flavor adds a lactic acid sourness with a hints of coriander, salt and earthy citrus. Light body with a tart, puckering feel. Funked out with a gangsta twist.

Hazed yellow, light soapy head, bigger bubbles. Aroma is tart raspberry kombucha. soured fruit red berries with lemon. Must be just from yeast ester, but it is all raspberry. Some leathery funk.I would swear this is a raspberry sour by taste also, smooth mellow savory salt presence, pretty fruity for being a coriander spice. This is one of the better gose ales imo.
