Aroma coming forth from a huge head is corn and freshly baked bread. Taste is mostly sweet but not overwhelming so. Multiple bottles are possible. Bonus appearance point for the fabulous Ramona Muse Lambert illustrations adorning the labels (different than the label illustration on this webpage).. superspak (6476) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - NOV 6, 2017
Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of honey, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeasty in the aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of bready malt and slight earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big honey, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of honey, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of bready malt and slight earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness, clean finishing. Fairly clean on lager flavors, a bit fruity/yeasty but not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.8%. Overall this is a very good Helles. All around nice complexity and robustness of bready malt and slight earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful with nicely rich Pilsner malt flavors with a bit of Munich, and just enough hops to balance the sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Sampler at brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Not a lot on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel. This stuff really coats the tongue. Crisp and dry on the tongue. Finished clean. Nice. commonshawn (1362) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2017
Tap at embassy suites in des moines during glbtq. Dark gold with small white head. Grainy nose. Sweet grain taste. Not great . sdcourtney (61) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUN 21, 2017
Nice clean golden lager with a good flavor profile. Waitress called it "dark" . Which I suppose is correct when it is next to Lite or Bud...

Best lager I've had in a long time. Great clean aroma with a crisp taste. Great label too.
