Draft. Slightly hazy pink color. Aroma is tart cherries, lacto, sour wheat. The flavor is lactic acid with sour wheat base. The Berliner is basically the base of this beer with the 700 pounds of cherries used in the brewing process. Cherry comes out natural and gives nice balance. Tap at exile. Pours a hazy Amber with faint reddish tint. Aroma is faint cherry, lightly sour and faintly salty. Taste is cherry, a mix of sour and sweet cherries, faint salty gose flavors. Light body, high carbonation. Great beer!! cubs (10742) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Bottle @ the pussy palace. Thanks to pepsican for this chinchill courtesy toss. Supposedly explosive but my bottle was just overwhelmingly foamy. Murky strawberry red appearance with no head retention. Aroma is somewhat dull with some red fruit like cherries and strawberries, dust, and light funk. Moderately tart. Low bitterness and sweetness. Cherries, yogurt, lemon, and cheese. Clean finish. Cheese after taste. Pretty damn good. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 24, 2015
Bottle @ Patrick’s Haus. Thanks for the tick, Andy Davis. Gusher! Hazed orange pour with tons of white foam. Super cherry pie nose. Amazing nose, really. Lots of cherry skin and spice notes. Slight pie crust. Good acidity to the flavor, but not quite as much fruit character. Nice grass and fruity character, though a bit muted. wutangfinancial (204) - CA to VA, California, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Bottle thanks to Andrew. Huge gusher, pours a murky peach color. Smells of applesauce, cherry pie, cider, and cherry liqueur. Palate is a bit watery, with flavors of spiced cherry, lacto, sour apple. Pretty nice.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter. Absurd amount of foam. Took three overflowing snifters to hold one small bottle. Orange and hazy body. Settles to a medium white head. Smells incredibly yeasty. Phenolic. Some bubble gum. Faint cherry. What cherry is has is a little medicinal. Taste is tart. A lot more cherry flavor. Not medicinal, either. Big improvement over the nose. Strong yeast and phenols persist. Light bubble gum lingers with tart cherry. High carbonation, but not bad enough to detract. Light body. A beer that improved dramatically from appearance to smell to taste. Still not quite a remarkable beet, though. Homer321 (5250) - Melboring, Florida, USA - AUG 24, 2015
12oz bottle via Pepsican at John’s. A HUGE hiss upon opening. Poured into glass. A HUGE white head, mostly large bubbles, on top of a murky orange colored beer. Aroma is lightly fruity with a touch of apple and musty cheese. Some cherry skin as it warms. Taste is initially fruity, cherry like. Sharp, clean sourness. Effervescent carbonation makes it champagne like. Reminds me of cherry 7up. A little thin but overall quite refreshing. Take down the carbonation and this would be crushable. 12 oz bottle again thanks to Pepsican. Thanks, buddy. Pours an almost murky amber reddish tinged hue. Natural applesauce colors, thicker creamy offwhite head atop stays as a nice layer, good retention and lacing. Some dulled ruby amber glow with a nice color at times. Aromas show gentle dry flaked wheat, lactic jabs and mellow cherryskin. Earth, faint spice and yogurt meet a bit of dust, yeastiness and tartness. A bit bland on the nose overall. Initial is fruity and tart, a nice cherry juice appeal is a bit dark, pit fruit and black cherry with gentle lemony lactic life. Earth, bready malts, a bit of fuzziness. That cherry element comes on firmer, seedy and juicy with some nice sourness that starts to grow. Fuzzy and punchy lactic life, dry and twangy as we press on. This starts to grow on me, developing some firmer assertive flavors, a bit of tannic and dry appeal pokes through that cherry juice at times. Dry, a bit pulpy with some lemony and orange jabs, nice lactic appeal. The cherry seems to find it’s frequency as we hit the middle and backend, more punchy sourness gives a fight, gentle yogurt, dry grainy malts and a bit of earthiness. Overall, the nose hear seems a bit lacking but this beer itself is very on point. Flowing black cherry seedy fruit elements are on point, nice but not potent sourness that flows over the palate nicely. Almost a cherry lemonade appeal at times, this really does grow on me. Gentle sweetness at times quickly gets reigned in by an on point middling yet fulfilling sourness, black cherry nectar, lactic yogurty life. Nice stuff. ajnepple (7350) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUL 29, 2015
12 oz bottle via trade, shared. Aroma of tart cherries and wheat bread. Similar flavor, with a mild sour pucker and a toasted grain finish. Mildly sweet with high carbonation and a soft, smooth mouth feel. Pretty nice overall. Huhzubendah (3775) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 14, 2015
Many thanks to pepsican for the generous gift.
Agressively carbonated as I was warned. After letting the beer open up for about 15 minutes, the appearance is thus: dark orange, hazy body with subtle hints of ruby. The gargantuan white cap settles and holds at a quarter inch. Aromas of cherry, earth, vanilla. The flavor is fantastic. Loads of sour cherries with a beautiful and natural vanilla character. My chief complaint is the fizzy, overcarbonated feel on the palate. Overall, quite good. Almost awesome.
