COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Saison is inspired from the beers we grew to love in Belgium, in particular Dupont’s amazing version. We use White Labs Belgian II Saison yeast (WLP566) which drives the character of the beer.

Hints of peppery citrus, straw and a sweet honey funk on the nose. Flavours of semi-dry citrus pith, earthy breads, subtle caramels, crisp honey and a dry spicy funkiness to finish.

Light and thirst quenching for a 6.2%. Crisp and dry with an overripe banana bread with honey quality though not at all sweet

Yellow 375mL 6.2%abv can. $4.20, bottled Jan 2017. Appearance: Golden body. Dense white head but quickly drops to a ring. 2 Aroma: Plasticine, raw dough. 5 Taste: Plasticine, raw dough, yeast. The dominating yeast makes this taste like the unexceptional Redoak Organic Pale Ale. Its short length is for the best. 5 Palate: Moderate carbonation, average body. 3 Overall: Get La Sirene Saison instead. 10

Not sure if this is #001? Exit Saison 6.2%ABV 375ml can. Pours a golden hazy straw with thin head. Sweet and sour aroma of lime, yeast, fruits and spice. Dry citris peppery taste upfront. Definitely yeasty with bready notes. Backround light honey and malt. Refreshing and light.

330mL bottle from Slowbeer. Bottled on 10.05.16 Pours a hazy pale peach body with a inch of white foam. Nose reveals grainy malts, bread dough, touch of unripe banana & apricot, white pepper. Dry body, lifted carbonation, lean, crisp. Grain malt continues on the body - notes of green herbs, pepper, citrus, stonefruits, banana - subtle but effective, dry finish, moderate bitterness. Not too shabby.

Bottle from Brewhouse Brisbane 210816. Looks really good when poured into the glass with a dark orange apricot skin colour and a big fluffy white head. Fruit laden aroma and flavour with a long finish .
