Dark ale - hides the alcohol well. Smooth and a good balance of malt and hops but not overly in your face.

Bottled, 500ml, aged 4yrs. Dark brown with thin tan head. I think the ageing has done this no favours. The beer is a little sluggish with little life. There is still a vinous character with a slightly sour taste of plums and roasted malt. Thick but short finish, drink this fresh. kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2012
