Blikje gedronken tijdens vakantie.

Another budget beer. The taste is watery just like the others, but not as annoying as I’d suspected.

Can from a Deen supermarket (one of the Superunie members), 25 cl. Thick and moussy but irregular, off-white, fairly stable head over a cristal clear, deep yellow blonde beer with lively fizz, just a tad darker than average for the style. Aroma of cooked corn, sourdough, malt sugar, fermenting grass, iron, soap, wet paper. Notably sourish grainy flavour together with some cooked sugar corn-like sweetishness, medium carbo, thin and lightly oily body with strong metallic aspect dominating the rest of the palate; the sourish grains and malt sugar or corn sweetishness persist into a watery finish with only a weak amount of grassy, simple hop bitterishness showing up quite late and paired with a certain chemical wryness on top of the lingering malt sugar sweetishness. Very metallic, thin and industrial pale lager, below average even for the style; certainly does not deserve the ’Pilsener’ qualification given here.

Te licht geel, te dun schuim. Nauwelijks geur, weinig smaak. Wel een lekkere worst erbij

Can at gmm 15. Pours very clear blonde. Smell is mostly sweet malt-syrup. Taste is likewise, very chemical and fake, on top of a very blank profile.

Can from a Co-Op in Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma light malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry, watery, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.
