Citra ass down and have a few pints of this great IPA. The Citra comes through like a champ in the aroma and taste. My wife who is not an IPA fan, ordered two The finish was crisp and smooth. T.he taste had enough malt to balance the hops. Overall, a fantastic IPA

Draft at Novemberfest 2015. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of citrus, grassy notes. Flavor was heavy citra hop notes. Flavors are nice citrus, but doesn’t pop nearly as much as the delicious aroma.

Sample at brewery The IPA poured light amber with a light haze and an off white head and lacing. The aroma of citrus was mild but stronger in the taste area. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The citra hops dominates this ale. The finish was smooth with a nice bitter citrus ending

Keg @ Mekong. Deep gold with a small head. Huge nose. Plenty of acerbic underarm dank funk. Bright citrus. Some cheese. Resinous pine. The taste is more of the same. Tropical fruits, citrus, slightly cheesy. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, pretty excellent. Nice vibrant flavors.

Poured as a 2 oz sampler at Virginia Beer Live 2013. May have been suffering from palate blowout. Pachouli aroma? The taste is all hop bitterness and no real complexity.

I hadn’t made it south of the river to try this, so I was delighted to see it on tap at Mekong. Pours a light gold, decent head, some haze. Aroma is cat piss and pine hops. Flavor matches, enough malts to balance, but this is flat out a Citra machine. If you like Citra, you are a happy camper. If you don’t, well, sorry for you. Really liked this one as a hop vehicle.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical, lemongrass, earthy hops and pale malts. The taste is spicy, tropical and citrus hops. Pale malts. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, slightly off balance. Solid.
