COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From the brewer: in our production both Blond and Zest are dry hopped.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2017 Enjoyed this Belgian-ish blonde ale on draft in Rome. Poured a hazy blonde color with plumes of white foam which featured an intense aroma of allspice and citrus peel, along with some sweet Belgian ester notes in the background. Flavor followed as spice and citrus zest with a light yeast ester, but really the citrus accent is the central highlight - the most citrus I can recall in a Belgian ale! Interesting to note that the citrus flavor may be the result of dry-hopping instead of a citrus fruit addition, although not sure of that. Surprisingly thin body, with a clean wheaty grain finish. Overall very distinctive and well done!

Birra dal colore giallo paglierino. Schiuma, bianca cremosa e persistente. All’ olfatto sentori di agrumi e frutta esotica.

Pours whitish golden, bit of foam and slightly hazy. Nose is packed with Belgian yeast character and spices, bit of ginger even. Taste is surprisingly hoppy, lots of hops in this one. Combined with fruitiness and spices from yeast, some lemon peel bitterness, this beer becomes truly refreshing and there seems to be much more body than its 4,4% would suggest. Flavuorful session beer, top notch!

Interesting blond beer. Good hoppiness. Nice bright color. Long lasting head. Flavor a bit flat though.

On tap. Colore giallo paglierino/oro. Testa cremosa e persistente. Equilibrata, ottima.
