Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; batch 015 13, bb 31.01.15
Very dark brown color with medium sized head. Mild aroma of caramel with light biscuity touch. Soft and round mouthfeel; good caramel flavor, with traces of dark caramel, traces of liquorice, very light fruitiness from the gentle yeast; correct bitterness; ends with a light residual sweetness and a touch of firewood. Balanced but it could have a better malt character.
