COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some caramel sweetness and dried fruits like dates and yeast. There's a spicy warmth in the finish.

330ml bottle @ Matt's. Best before 2016.01.07. Pours a murky dark brown with a thin beige head. Nose is figs and brown sugar. Flavour is very malty, low sweetness molasses, some dried fruits, toffee, and a roasted malt. It finishes somewhat dry with a bitter roasty dark malt character.

Medium brown with a slight bit of haze. No head. On the nose, it's slightly fruity but on the palate, it's richer, toffeeish, and it has a subtle fruity complexity. I like this.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark dirty brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals lots of prunes, figs, dates, etc. with some brown sugar and caramel. Flavour is very malty, with lots of dark dried fruits, caramelized brown sugar, and toffee. Malty, fruity, but not too sweet. Excellent.
