Bottle from Aldi. It pours dark brown with a small - medium body and beige head. The aroma is rich roast, earthy, bitter dark chocolate, choc chip muffin, mocha coffee and fruit cake. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, peppery spice, charred wood, cacao nibs, bit ashy, salty liquorice and burnt toast with a dry roasted finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Not bad. JohnRMurdoch (5258) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 8, 2017
