[ Vintage 1989 ]. Clear medium to light dark orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate light heavy raspberry, wood, caramel, vintage, oxidid malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.
From tap at Plan B, 22 year old keg. Pours cloudy dark orange with a fully gone head. Wooden and dry raspberry aroma. Smooth, tart and nice raspberry fruity. Very elegant and easy flavoured. Light acidic touch and nice fruity base flavour. Shivering tartness. Lasting fruity raspberry impression. Sublime! Stunning! Ungstrup (37237) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2004
[keg 10-15 years old] An unclear red beer with a beutiful long lasting and lacing light brown head. The aroma is lovely sweet fruity with notes of raspberries and hints of sourness. The flavor is sour and sweet with notes of fruit and raspberries. The sweetness is the dominating flavor since it is not very sour. An extremely great beer - one of a kind. joergen (27975) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005

(1989 vintage). Murky red colour with small white head. Aroma is toffwee, caramel, some raspberries and wood. Flavour is the same, in an excellent balance. Sour raspberry is coming in nicely in the flavour.
Draught @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Vintage 1989. Pours a pink reddish color with a white head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of raspberry. Sweet malty tart fruity raspberry flavor. Has a long fruity raspberry finish. Very drinkable. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Pretty, pale reddish colour, small head. Pronounced raspberry nose. Very raspberry flavour with a discreet sweetness on an underlying tart base. Nicely balanced between the sweet and the sour. Lovely Framboise considering this was never really my favourite style. 170598 omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 26, 2003

Clear red with creamy pink head. Sweet balsamic fresh raspberry aroma. Acidic, but with initial fruit sweetness and really tart finish. Wonderfully balanced and flavourful.

At Plan B - Copenhagen. Thanks to Kim Johansen for getting me on to this beer! Clear amber beer. A little dry on the palate. Fresh and tart. Peachy as much as it is raspberry. Remarkably fresh for it’s age - would have never have known this was 22 years old. That said I’m not getting the same swivel eyed pleasure as some out of this. Decent nontheless.
Draught at Plan B, 20 years old (1989 apparently), last keg!
Cloudy red-amber color; small head.
Delicate aroma of ripe raspberries, vanilla, flowery cologne, talcum powder. It has a medium body strength; perfect blend of residual sweetness and sourness, with a fresh fruity touch, sweet raspberries in the front and just more aggressive lemon at the end, candies.
After such harmonius flavor, by contrast the palate is more coarse, with citrus tartness and a light obvious astringency.
Perfect. Amazing how it can keep the balance after so many years.
