UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Creamy head like a esb, clear amber colour, and a strong malt flavour very good best beer in my opinion made by maclean Tessic (1269) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2017 This scotch ale poured a medium amber colour with a creamy light tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, candy, spice and hops. First swig was quite creamy with flavours of rich malts, cereal and a little dough. Finish is strong and medium sweet with rich maltiness lingering forever. crazy_cat_lady (765) - - DEC 19, 2016
Bottle in Brew Box. Clear reddish brown with off white head. Very sweet aroma of toffee, caramel, raisins. Also very sweet tasting, predominantly caramel and toffee with some biscuit and raisin. KansaiBeerLvrs (5578) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 1, 2016

Pours a clean amber colour with bigger bubbles than usual. The head is nice with some creaminess, foaminess, decent retention and creamy lacing. Aromas of rusty water, then yeast and some mild dark fruits (raisins, plums). The taste is even worst, so not balanced. Seems like the hops used here are not the proper ones, adding some bad grass notes over the caramel malts and hints of nuts. Not super horrible, but not something I would have again. Not a great first experience from this brewery. Nice label though.

Light brown body, tiny white head. Sweet sugary aroma, the taste is sweet as well. I like the finish, it’s fading slowly. daniel0017 (462) - Yukon, CANADA - DEC 4, 2015
Red-amber body with little to no head. Faint, whiff of cedar, scotch whiskey and sour dough. Well balanced flavors of toasted bread, vanilla, oak, brazil nut. Strong, warming alcoholic bite finishes the whole.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a reddish brown, clear. Minimal head. Nose is malty, brown sugar, earthy roasted notes, herbs, caramel. Thick mouthfeel. Taste follows the nose, sweet, earthy, caramel malt. Pretty damn good. Nothing outstanding but hits the classic notes. robinvboyer (4836) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2015
Big, sticky, and malty. Loads of caramel, brown sugar, and some light roasted nuts. Full mouth feel, soft carb. Slightly boozy finish, light roast, light fruit, and lots of sticky, chewy malts. cfrancis (3638) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2015
Pours foggy amber brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet toffee with caramel malts and a hint of smoke. Taste is again toffee, caramel, touch of smoke. Average beer, not much flair.
